But maybe this is the bar to take a date (chandeliers, candles, table lamps, red velvet, perfectly aged Soviet-style murals). The arty atmosphere -- which is enjoyed by a mix of goths, locals, coffee sluts, men with laptops writing their novels -- is clearly influenced by the cafe/bar hybrids of Paris & Amsterdam. This is the kind of bar that looks great at night and sort of cheesy during the day. The candle lit courtyard is our favorite place to hang out.
